Fabatour Booking and Itinerary Policy:
1. Right to Services:
The customer who selects an excursion with Fabatour is entitled to all the services detailed on the website or brochure relating to the chosen excursion. All information provided applies exclusively to the services of that specific experience.
2. Confirmation and Payment:
The customer confirms participation in the excursion by paying a deposit, which generally ranges from 10% to 20% of the total cost. The remaining balance will be paid at check-in. Some types of excursions require full payment at the time of booking.
3. Cancellation Policy:
The customer may cancel the booking in one of the following cases:
a) In case of illness, supported by a medical certificate.
b) In case of early return from holiday, supported by a travel document.
c) Cancellation without a specific reason, provided it is communicated to Fabatour at least 72 hours before the start of the excursion.
4. Refund for Non-Participation:
In case of non-participation in the excursion, the customer is entitled to a refund of the deposit or the full ticket amount in the following cases:
a) In the cases specified in points a, b, c above with reference to Art. 3.
b) In case of bad weather or technical failure preventing the excursion from taking place.
5. Changes to Itineraries:
For reasons related to weather conditions, navigation requirements, or directives issued by the Port Authority, the captain of the motor vessel or the RIB skipper may modify destinations and itineraries without any obligation to provide a refund.
6. Insurance and Liability:
In the event of accidents occurring during the excursions, insurance coverage lies with the participant or the carrier and not with the agency, which acts exclusively as an intermediary.
7. “Gulf of Orosei Motorboat Tour with Traditional Sardinian Tasting”:
The service will be operated by one of the vessels listed below, at the discretion of the Cala Gonone Maritime Transport Consortium. The vessels include: Angela 1, Don Vincenzo, Ida, Lunar, Marisa, Pegaso, San Marco, Siro, Tio Pepe, Turcali and Venere.
The return transport or continuation of the tour may be carried out by a different vessel from the one used for departure or the first part of the journey, unless otherwise communicated.
8. Changes for Navigation Safety:
In case of adverse weather conditions or for any other reason related to navigation safety, the captains of the vessels reserve the right to modify, at their sole discretion, departure and return times and to change destinations without the customer being entitled to request any refund, even partial, of the ticket.
9. Payment and Cancellation Conditions for Private (Exclusive) Tours
Booking Confirmation and Payment:
To confirm a private booking, a 20% deposit of the total amount is required.
The remaining balance must be paid at least 3 days prior to the excursion date.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation by the customer:
If cancellation occurs 10 or more days before the scheduled excursion date, the deposit will be fully refunded.
If cancellation occurs less than 10 days before the excursion date, the deposit will be retained, in accordance with general legislation regarding deposits.
Cancellation by the organiser:
In the event of cancellation by the organiser (for example, due to adverse weather conditions or technical problems), Fabatour agency will offer alternative options to the customer. Should these alternatives not be accepted, the agency will refund all amounts paid.
Payment Methods:
Payment can be made via PayPal, credit card through the Stripe system, or bank transfer for residents within the Eurozone.
After confirmation of the booking, the customer will receive a voucher (Travel Ticket) containing the excursion details and payment instructions.
N.B. The above payment and cancellation conditions apply exclusively to private (exclusive) excursions and may differ from standard group or individual tours.
Customers are advised to consult the full terms and conditions before making a booking.
